Expected Features & Safety

In an interview, Garg emphasized Hyundai's commitment to safety, highlighting the new Verna's 5-star crash test rating. While not confirmed, the Creta and Alcazar are likely candidates for ADAS, potentially enhancing the Creta's safety score to match the Verna's.

2024 Creta - New Design

Spy shots reveal a design inspired by the Palisade, featuring a new grille, headlamps, and front bumper. The side profile remains similar, with new alloy wheels. The rear will likely sport H-shaped tail lamps, akin to those on the Exter.

Interior upgrades may include a redesigned dashboard, floating infotainment system, new upholstery colors, and updated HVAC controls. Additional features could be a 360-degree camera, heads-up display, multi-colored ambient lighting, and a digital instrument cluster.

Engine & Transmission

The facelift is expected to introduce a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 157bhp and 253Nm of torque, with manual and DCT gearbox options. The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines will continue, with manual and automatic transmissions. The N-Line Creta facelift may also see mechanical changes.

Launch Timeline

Hyundai plans to launch the Creta facelift in the first half of 2024, with production starting in January and the launch expected in February or March 2024. An estimated price increase of Rs 60k to 70k is anticipated, with current pricing starting from Rs 12.90 lakh to Rs 23.03 lakh.
